Who Are Secular Franciscan
Secular Franciscans are ordinary lay Catholics with a definite
commitment to the Franciscan way of life. Here in Waverley the Holy Spirit Fraternity of
the Secular Franciscans have been meeting every
month since their establishment in 1970.
To answer God's call to a better, fuller life by using St Francis as the
model is not easy. It is challenging yet rewarding. No cross, no crown.

Family Mass - 10am, Last Sunday of the month
We will have a special Family Mass on the Last Sunday of each month
during the school term. The children will join in the full liturgy and
contribute where they feel comfortable. Any child wishing to read or take
up the offertory gifts or help in some other way, please contact Cathy on
9369 9399.

Children's Liturgy
10am Sunday, except the
last Sunday of the month when we have the family Mass.
The Children's Liturgy is aimed at children up to and including year 4.
There will be special sessions run for the older children at ad hoc times
during the year. While older children are welcome and their positive
contribution is often of great assistance, it is important to remember that
the sessions are aimed at the younger children.
